Kobe Bryant has one of the most successful signature shoes and recently we've seen a lot of Kobe Protros (Performance Retros). Two of my favorites have been the Kobe 6 Protro 'Reverse Grinch' and the return of the Kobe 4 Protro 'Philly'.

I put these two sneakers toe to toe, compare them according to four metrics - colorway, cushioning, traction, support and lockdown and pick one shoe that I'd choose if I had to.

The Kobe 6 Protro 'Reverse Grinch' is a sequel to the beloved 'Grinch' colorway that Kobe Bryant originally wore on Christmas day in 2010. This shoe is releasing on December 15 for $190 in the United States. As a performance retro, this Kobe shoe has been updated with new tech specs, but I'm not too sure I like it better.
